Undergraduate Entry Requirements

The University considers a wide range of qualifications for entry. We welcome applications from students who are taking or who have taken A Levels, AS Levels, BTEC National Diploma/Certificates, NVQ Level 3, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and Access courses. We accept all qualifications that are part of the UCAS tariff. For all degree courses applicants must have a minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent qualifications in order to be considered.

Each course has a guideline UCAS tariff entry requirement which can be found on the relevant course page.

Applicants are also expected to have GCSE English grade C or above and for some courses also GCSE Maths grade C or above.

If you don't have the minimum requirements, you may still be eligible for entry provided you have a level 3 qualification. To find out more email admissions@glos.ac.uk.

Can I put previous study towards my degree course?

You may be able to use other qualifications such as Open University Units or professional qualifications, as Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). To find out more about APL email apl@glos.ac.uk
