The historic Frances Close Hall has been a Cheltenham landmark for nearly 200 years.

Constructed in 1847, Francis Close Hall blends modern facilities with historic architecture adjacent to Cheltenham’s lively and attractive centre. Dining on campus is provided in the Refectory, with a bar and entertainment to be found in the FCH Student Union.
Students can be accommodated within five halls of residence in close proximity to FCH. The majority of rooms are ensuite and have broadband Internet access, with all halls equipped with self-catering facilities. Within a short walk lies the University’s gym & sports fields and Cheltenham’s leisure centre.
