Engineering Technologies

My interests lie in the area of Control Engineering and Human Computer Interaction. I worked as a research control engineer to develop Human Computer Interfaces for industrial applications which lead to the development of computer assisted learning and employing new interface technology for games.

I was a Principal Investigator in the use of Virtual Reality in Education and Training in Singapore. I have undertaken consultancy and research for SME’s in operational and manufacturing processes, instrumentation and control systems, expert systems and technology transfer from the academic environment to industry.

I am the course leader for BEng Integrated Engineering and module tutor for advanced group projects including Engineering, Creative Visualisation and Human Computer Interaction.

I am also the Chairman of the BCS Cheltenham and Gloucester Branch.
