Technical and Applied Computing

My path to academia was convoluted to say the least. A background in electronic surveillance and protection , a career change to policing and eventually to one of the most rewarding roles I have ever undertaken. To be able to equip students for the "real world" of Digital Forensic Investigation is truly a privilege.

Biography

I have many years experience in Digital Forensics and my passion lies in recovering data from Mobile Devices. I established and developed the mobile phone recovery for Gwent Police .In former employment I provided electronic security and surveillance support for Politically sensitive , Military and high value private targets.

I'm Fairly new to academia and believe that a combination of theory and "hands on" is the best way to impart knowledge.
