Biography

My professional background and international experiences from climbing Kilimanjaro to working in Edinburgh – Scotland’s International Festival capital, have helped me to value broad horizons and international connections. I studied sport science as an undergraduate, management as a professional and tourism to Masters level. I now coordinate work placements, international work and study opportunities for students.

John teaches across the leisure industries management programmes from employability and operations to intercultural awareness and international tourism.
