Biography

After graduating with a degree in primary and middle school education, I worked in schools in Kent and Gloucestershire as a subject leader in Geography and History. Whilst working at a Cheltenham school, I was seconded to work as Advisory Teacher for History and Geography and Key Skills in Gloucestershire. As a Senior Lecturer at the University, the majority of my teaching responsibility is in History. I am committed to active, resource rich approaches to teaching and learning. I am also interested in curriculum design and planning and have developed models for planning for progression.
