Biography

After qualifying  as a registered nurse in 1986, I specialised in elderly and end-of-life care, working in acute hospitals and hospices and with a national cancer charity. When I started working at the University of Gloucestershire in 2005, I led transformative educational programmes, including palliative care programmes, which improved the quality of care received by patients .
