Academic Course Leader in Non Medical Prescribing

Health and Social Care

Learning should be enjoyable as well as challenging. I work clinically in the emergency department and have done so across the world. I love the fast paced exciting nature of emergency medicine and like my teaching, no two days are the same!

Biography

As Academic Course Leader for the Non-Medical Prescribing courses, my teaching focuses on safe and effective prescribing practices within healthcare settings. In addition, my other modules include clinical assessment and decision making plus work-based learning which is essential in underpinning practice. My many years of experience within the emergency department assist me in understanding the pressures and restrictions placed on nurses in current practice.
