Biography

I'm a short story writer and novelist with an interest in the challenging, taboo and profane. I am fascinated by the origins of such stories, and the motivation of their creators. My short stories have touched upon themes of suicide, voyeurism and cannibalism, and my MA thesis explored parallels between the bodily grotesque and pornography – published as ‘Monster Porn’. My PhD was an autoethnographic study of the creative process behind writing violence.
