Dr Rowan Middleton

Senior Lecturer In Creative Writing & English Literature

I teach a wide variety of modules across English and Creative Writing. My research interests include: literature and the environment, literature and spirituality, poetry, and creative writing pedagogy.

Biography

I enjoy teaching across the curriculum and have taught modules in areas including American literature, the Romantics, Creative Writing (poetry and the short story), literary language, the Dymock poets, and academic skills. My research focuses on literature and the environment, literature and spirituality, modern and contemporary poetry, and creative writing pedagogy. My poetry has appeared in a range of literary journals and my pamphlet The Stolen Herd was published by Yew Tree Press in 2018.
