Performing Arts and Play

I have a background in acting, writing/translating and directing and I specialise in Classical Theatre, its theory and performance. I’m founder director of To The Elephant Theatre Company.

Biography

I love Shakespeare’s plays because of the life-affirming and imaginative worlds he creates. I lived in Andalucia near Seville for 6 years where I translated Lorca’s Bernarda Alba and Blood Wedding after spending a lot of time with village and farming communities. I’ve translated for the Royal Shakespeare Company where I also worked as an actor.
