Rachel Sullivan

Senior Lecture in Teacher Education (Secondary)

I have worked in secondary schools in a variety of roles including teacher training and pastoral management. I am now interested in research which will enable better quality PE experiences for school age children.

Biography

I have gained experience in a variety of roles in secondary and primary education both in Gloucestershire and London. I enjoy working with local schools to continue to develop outstanding practice in Education and Physical Education.

Teaching & Research

Teaching

Rachel leads the PGCE Secondary course, delivering content on the Professional Studies modules as well as Physical Education subject knowledge. She also supports the Physical Education Undergraduate programme.

Research

My research focuses on the practice of assessment within Physical Education in schools as well as the effective integration of technology in education. My Doctoral research is based around Relational Pedagogy and its impact on teaching and learning in schools.
