Julia is Academic Subject Leader of Photography. She is a Gloucestershire-based photographer and writer whose work has been exhibited and published widely. Julia has a strong interest in photography and sustainability, including education for sustainability. Julia continues to write and practice whilst engaging with students in their practical and theoretical studies.

Richard Billingham is an artist working in photography and film. His work focuses on human relationships and the landscape. He was the first recipient of the Deutsche Borse Photography Prize in 1997 and was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2001.
