Foundation Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Graduate Diploma (part-time)
Introduction
Fees for 2012/13: £575 for Level 4 and £700 for Level 5.
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is the professional body for those who are developing a career in purchasing. The programme offers entry points throughout the year.
The University of Gloucestershire is recognised as a CIPS Centre of Excellence, a status it has held since 2006.

For 2012-13 the university is planning to offer all 5 x Level 4 modules of the Foundation Diploma, as listed below:
Level 4 Foundation Diploma (Five Compulsory Subjects)
- Managing Purchasing & Supply Relationships
- Effective Negotiation in Purchasing & Supply
- Developing Contracts in Purchasing & Supply
- Measuring Purchasing Performance
- Purchasing Contexts
The delivery format for the above will be a mix of evening delivery and intensive one week courses, to enable students to complete the Foundation Diploma in one year.

The course fees shown in the fees box, refer to the taught element of the course. Additionally, students will need to purchase the relevant course and textbooks for each module. Students must also register directly with CIPS to become a member of the Institute and pay the exam fees for each module.

To be eligible to sit the examinations you must register as a student of the Institute. Please note that you need to register to sit the relevant exam at least two months before the exam date.
