Part-time taught route through lectures and workshops.
Formal qualifications are not required for entry to the CMS. You should however be able to demonstrate that you will benefit from undertaking the course. In view of the work-related nature of the CMS, you will need to have recent and relevant work experience.

Apply your learning in your workplaces
The CMS is designed to enable you to transfer current theories of management to your work place. Through assessment of your work, by written essay, group presentation, or a combination, we give you the practical experience to reflect on and so improve your performance in the workplace.
Learning with a peer group
The CMS attracts students aspiring to be a manager or gaining their first formal management qualification, so you will learn with a peer group of like-minded people. In addition to tutor support, peer group support will help you through the qualification.
Obtain a recognised qualification and professional status
With our links to the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), you will have the option to join the CMI as part of your CMS studies.
