This module reflects current developments in benchmarking standards for teaching in practice by professional bodies, e.g. NMC (2008) Standards for Learning and Assessment in Practice (SLAiP). The module engages students in developing competence in reflection, teaching and assessing in practice.
Students will be required to have access to an area of teaching practice and be supervised by a qualified practice teacher/ practice educator.
