Beginner's Guide to Drawing

The Beginners Guide to Drawing is designed for students of all abilities. Whether you are a complete novice who only doodles on the phone or you want to try out a range of drawing techniques and media, this is the course for you.

You will be introduced to a varied range of approaches to making a drawing from very detailed measured drawing to looser more expressive mark making. These weekly sessions will give the opportunity to explore drawing and begin to find your own ways of making marks in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

This 5 week course will prepare you for the 'Intermediate Drawing' or ‘Beginners guide to Painting’ short course which follow this one, building on some of the themes and ideas introduced here
