This 5 week course is ideal if you are looking to start making paintings.

You will be introduced to a range of painting techniques and media including Surface preparation, Oil, Acrylic and Watercolour paint. You will have the opportunity to try lots of different techniques and produce your own paintings using the materials explored.

This course will prepare you for the Intermediate Painting’ short course which follows this one, building on some of the themes and ideas introduced here.
