The UoG Assessment Only Route to QTS will support very experienced teachers who are ready to demonstrate the QTS Standards.

Our approach is a tested route to success and we provide the following support:
- Interview
- Comprehensive Handbook of Guidance, regarded by former teachers as ‘excellent’
- Initial visit to school by an experienced assessor to provide the candidate with guidance on the evidence required
- On-line support and twilight sessions available at UoG
Requirements
- Submission of Portfolio of Evidence against the QTS Standards
- Assessment visit including observation of lessons and discussions with senior staff.
The fees for this supported route towards QTS will be £2250.
Overseas Trained Teachers are eligible to apply for the Assessment Only Route; as long as they meet the above criteria and have already had their qualifications checked by UK NARIC (www.naric.org.uk).
