I teach finance modules at undergraduate level, and compliance and risk at postgraduate level. I like to inspire rigorous academic discourse during my teaching sessions, blending research and theory with real-world case studies.

Biography

I am a lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Gloucestershire. Before joining, I held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow, and Teaching and Research Assistant positions at the University of Cape Coast. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling, and a PhD in Accounting and Finance from University of Glasgow.

Research

I research in corporate finance and corporate governance. The main focus of my research is on share issuance and repurchase, dividend payments and investment. I particularly explore the effects of financial constraints on corporate decisions such as share repurchase, dividend payments and investments, as well as the impacts of corporate governance on these corporate decisions.
