Our Computing (Level 6) BSc (Hons) course enables you to build upon your current experience in the field of computing – whether you’ve achieved qualifications in computing, or have practical experience, our 1-year top-up allows you to further develop your skills and gain a full degree.

Dive deeper into the world of computing and study a range of flexible modules that can be tailored to suit your goals and ambitions. You’ll be able to specialise in a range of areas such as forensic computing, cyber security, computer science, IoT development, distributed databases, networks and secure coding.
You’ll learn how to work independently and as a part of a team in complex, business-oriented environments that you’ll experience in the real world. Combine your current skills with industry frameworks, methodologies, tools and techniques that will prepare you to graduate career-ready into the world of computing.
You’ll be required to complete an individual research project related to the main theme of your studies, in an area that interests you. This allows you to develop your own research interests applicable to your future career in computing.
You’ll have your own Personal Tutor to support you throughout your studies. And if you’re not sure what your career goals are, they’ll work with you to help shape your plans and meet your ambitions.
This computing course is 100% coursework and made up of lectures and practical sessions.

We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants, although some entry requirements may still apply for Professionally Accredited Courses. We accept Access to Higher Education Diplomas and make offers on an individual basis.
