I’ve just completed a project as senior menswear designer for Jasper Conran.
I signed up for the Fashion degree and never looked back. My lecturers were fantastic, each with a different specialism. In our final year, we had a huge catwalk show. It attracted crowds including film director, Lord David Puttnam! We created our own collections. Mine was colour-neutral. I work as a freelance fashion designer now, most recently for Jasper Conran at Debenhams. I travel to catwalk shows across the world! I owe such a lot to my degree.
We have fantastic industry links with Superdry; bespoke shirt designer Emma Willis; TMCollections; Clothes Show Live; Graduate Fashion Week; New Designers; SIT Select Showcase; Art Couture Painswick (previous judges include Grayson Perry, Lily Allen and Sienna Miller); Gloucestershire Business Show. Visiting lecturers have worked for Paul Smith, Jasper Conran, Debenhams, Bairdwear, Courtaulds, Weird Fish, George and Next.
