Management in this fast-moving sector needs employees with a sound grasp of both theory and practice, together with the dynamism that underpins the success of any hospitality business. Our programme is designed to give you an edge, increasing your employment potential.
Throughout your degree, you will gain practical work experience in the hospitality industry alongside studying the theory. In your third year you will be required to take part in a 48-week work placement which acts as a valuable tool to network with professionals in the industry.
All aspects of management that are key for hospitality managers are extensively covered within the programme, including human resource management, financial management, marketing, risk management and corporate strategy.
There is the opportunity to specialise in one of two different areas: hotel and resort management or restaurant management.
