The following certificates at the grade stated will be accepted as evidence of proficiency in English for candidates whose native language is not English and have not previously studied at a British educational institution. The certificates are required to demonstrate to University of Gloucestershire that prospective students have sufficient ability to successfully follow the course for which they have applied.
Pre-Sessional English Courses
We offer pre-sessional courses to help students achieve the required English level for Undergraduate or Postgraduate study. There are entry points throughout the year based upon a student’s level of English. All pre-sessional students need a UKBA approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) at a minimum of B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
