If you’re interested in applying for an undergraduate course, you have to apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
The national computerised application system is used by all UK universities and you only need to complete one application form, which allows you to apply for up to five different courses/institutions. You complete it online at the UCAS website.
Applications are received from the September prior to the start of the degree programme e.g. September 2008 for October 2009 admission. International (non-EU) students can submit their application anytime up until 30 June of the year prior to entry. However, we advise you to apply as early as possible as the more popular courses get full quickly. EU students must submit their applications before 15 January.
We assess each application on an individual basis. We accept many international qualifications and the International Development Centre is happy to provide individual advice on whether your particular qualifications are suitable for entry to an undergraduate course.
Applying for advanced undergraduate entry – years two or three of the undergraduate programme.
We take suitably qualified students (those with some bachelors level study or a relevant professional qualification) to year two or final year of a relevant undergraduate course. The application process is through UCAS, as outlined for undergraduate entry. In addition you would specify the year of entry and give evidence of your prior learning to support advanced entry. The institution code for University of Gloucestershire is G50.
