Putting theory into practice is all in a day’s work for student Terry Emm, as his much anticipated debut album is released next week.
Now in his final year, Terry has been studying the Popular Music degree at the University of Gloucestershire’s Pittville Studios, along with entertaining visitors and students on and off-campus.
The singer-songwriter has been performing at University Open Days, and Maverick Magazine have also welcomed his talents, giving his album White Butterflies an impressive five out of five.
The Popular Music course explores the music industry from all angles, from rights and royalties to multi-track recording.
Course leader and musician Joe Wilson is delighted with Terry’s success.
“He has a great deal of talent and we’re all very pleased that the album’s had such a good response. We’re looking forward to seeing Terry’s career go from strength to strength.”
