We offer a number of bursaries to help with the cost of your education. You can find more information at Bursaries or email bursaryclaims@glos.ac.uk
Students who receive the full maintenance grant will receive a top-up bursary directly from the university. Postgraduate trainee teachers on a primary or secondary PGCE course, who are ordinarily resident in the UK or EU, are entitled to a training bursary while they train. The value of this depends on the subject they’re training to teach.
Access to Learning Funds are provided by the government to help us award money to students in financial difficulties which may prevent them from continuing their course.
Grants and Loans
A maintenance grant of up to £2906 a year may be available for full-time undergraduate students from lower income homes. It is means tested by and non-repayable.
Maintenance loans are available to most students to help with the cost of living and have a very low interest rate. Repayments are not over a fixed period and will depend on your income during your working life.
Career development loans are available as an alternative means of funding for students on full-time postgraduate courses. You can find more information at Money Matters.
