The next generation of artists and designers put their creativity on show

Tonight (Friday 2 June) will see the launch of the annual Art and Design Degree Show, celebrating the talent and innovative work of the University’s final year art and design students.

The exhibition at the Hardwick Campus attracts around a thousand visitors including important names from industry and potential employers. From fashion to photography, graphic design to fine art, interior design to landscape architecture, the entire show is organised and created by students working closely with staff from the University’s School of Art and Design.

Among those exhibiting this year are the first graduates from Fashion Design. Some of the graduates have been working at London Fashion Week and have taken up placements with industry names such as Superdry and Paul Costello.

The open evening for the Art and Design Degree Show 2017 at Hardwick campus is on Friday 2 June from 6 – 9pm. The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am – 4pm every day (including weekends) until the 16th June.
Angus Pryor, Head of School for Art and Design at the University of Gloucestershire, said: “The Hardwick campus is hosting an amazing show of work in celebration of the School of Art & Design’s graduating students and shows their finest work; the culmination of three years of study, creative development and hard work. It is an opportunity to share their work with friends, family, the public and potential employers. It is one of Cheltenham’s major annual events, it’s always stimulating and we look forward to welcoming visitors from all over the country.”
