University nominated for national cyber award

​The University has been shortlisted as a finalist for ‘The Cyber University of the Year 2019’ in The National Cyber Awards 2019.

The National Cyber Awards reward individuals and organisations who help to keep the public safe online; celebrating those who are committed to cyber innovation, cyber crime reduction and protecting online citizens. 

Professor Kamal Bechkoum, Head of School of Business and Technology at the University, said:

“We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award, in recognition of our commitment to deliver a high quality learning experience that best prepares our students for a graduate job in cyber security.”

The awards ceremony will take place at a gala black-tie dinner on Wednesday 10 April, from 6:30pm at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham.
