New dementia research centre named after university chancellor

Dementia research has been given a new research centre in Gloucestershire. It is named after Baroness Rennie Fritchie who was the 2gether NHS Foundation Trust former chairman. Baroness Fritchie is also the University of Gloucestershire Chancellor.

The Fritchie Centre located on Charlton Lane will give the NHS a dedicated centre for research. They will focus their research on Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia to understand the causes of the disease and find ways of diagnosing it earlier.
