New sculptures worth £100,000 added to Forest of Dean trail

The Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail celebrates 30 years by installing new artworks worth around £100,000. It is hoped that the new sculptures will lure people to the trail again and help the trail to live up to its name of being the first outdoor permanent exhibition in the UK.

The first sculpture made by Henry Castle a trained artist from the University of Gloucestershire allows visitors to touch the fossilised remains of 300 million year old trees.
