Picnic in the Park

Home to nearly 1,000 trees, the nine hectare Cheltenham campus was formerly pleasure grounds and its distinctive teardrop shape has been a landmark since the 1840s.

From 4pm until 7pm, the event on Thursday June 4 features cream teas and old fashioned sports day games, and is part of the University’s first Festival Fortnight. Running across all campuses from June 1-14, Festival Fortnight includes a wide range of events celebrating student achievement, most of which are free and open to the public.

The picnic will include an egg and spoon race, wellie wanging and tug of war, and short tennis coaching will also be available.
