Francis Close Hall

You can book by using one of the following options:

A Cheltenham landmark for nearly 200 years, the historic Francis Close Hall is home to Education, Humanities and Sciences. The traditional building has been carefully developed to provide modern teaching facilities.

The campus has a newly re-developed Learning Centre offering a range of traditional resources and approaches combined with the latest technology to support student learning.

The Faculty takes pride in delivering a range of exciting, stimulating and engaging courses across all subject areas. Our aim is to provide an education in the humanities that has traditional depth and breadth but also recognises the valuable contribution to cultural development and national and international economies.

A diverse range of study programmes are on offer and, having invested £5m over the past 10 years, the Faculty is well-equipped for natural and social science enquiry.

The campus is the base for the innovative Centre for Active Learning, which is constantly developing new education strategies and has been built to reflect best practice in sustainability.
