Donors can make their gifts either to an unrestricted fund or designate their gift within specific, broad categories:
The University of Gloucestershire Annual Fund for Excellence
Donations to the Annual Fund make a real difference in the lives of our students and help ensure the University remains strong for years to come. Gifts to the Annual Fund have helped shape the campus and its facilities, support students and fund research. This year our campaign will focus on raising funds for Books, Bursaries and innovative Building programmes. Your continued support for the University will enable it to flourish as it meets the challenges of the twenty-first century. You can donate to the fund by clicking here.
The Library Development Fund
This fund supports a wide range of library programmes and activities, including student study space, electronic resources and books. This benefits the most students as no student can get by without using these facilities which need to be replenished and updated at regular intervals. You can donate to the fund by clicking here.
The University of Gloucestershire is committed to the development of sporting excellence and to support this have established Open Scholarships to assist athletes to reach their full sporting potential whilst achieving an academic qualification. The scheme encompasses any sport recognised by Sport England. This programme helps by providing a limited number of opportunities for coaching and up to £500 grant aid. With our sports scholarships we also provide a limited number of coaching opportunities. You can donate to the fund by clicking here.
Sport Malawi is an educational and development initiative of the Chaplaincy Department of the University of Gloucestershire, that promotes and uses sport and physical activity for the purposes of outreach and development. The project is funded entirely from voluntary donations. The project seeks to develop a network of significant actors within the ‘sport’ and the ‘development’ sectors in Malawi to tackle issues through sport such as poverty, gender inequality, education and preventable diseases such as Malaria and the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The emphasis is on training indigenous individuals and organizations in sports outreach, development and leadership. Sport Malawi’s mission is to develop Malawi through Sport.
