MSc Business Management, 2010
Having completed my post graduate course in Business Management at Guildhall College I was offered the opportunity to study for an MSc in Business Management at the University of Gloucestershire, which I took and graduated with flying colours.
Even though I studied off campus, I think the being apart of the University and the advice provided by the various professors, lecturers and advisors was outstanding.
In my current role as Security Operations at Advance Security UK Ltd I am continuously applying my skills, developed during my studies, to tackle and complete a variety tasks.
One occassion in particular that comes to mind is when dealing with issues of discrimination in the workplace. My negotiation and communication skills were called upon to solve the problem and obtain further advice. No matter how well educated we may consider ourselves. All of us are learning all the time from each other, from our own experiences and from what is happening around us.
