Graphic Design (BA Hons)
Having studied Graphic Design at the university, I am now working as a Junior Graphic Designer for ArthurSteenHorneAdamson, a Brand & Marketing agency based in Cheltenham.
As a junior designer, I take part in brainstorms, the development of ideas and the design of branding aspects such as packaging, logo design and brand identity.
My course enabled me to gain Mac skills and a way of thinking that is required for the industry. I also took the opportunity to do work placements and kept in touch with the companies that I went on placement with. This helped me to get my job when I left university. The high points of my time at the university were meeting a group of friends that I hope to keep in touch with for the rest of my life, gaining a degree, gaining independence, having fun and enjoying being away from home and doing all the things that students are renowned for…in other words, the whole university experience!
