Venues

The Park

The Park, Cheltenham

Surrounded by beautiful countryside with the rich Regency heritage of its buildings, parks and gardens, Cheltenham is a wonderful and unique place to visit. The Park was originally planned as a Victorian ornamental zoo and so our modern architecture stands proud in 24 acres of landscaped parkland.

The Elwes Building provides an impressive centrepiece to the complex, which houses a range of modern meeting  rooms and theatres, computer suites, versatile exhibition space, comfortable hospitality or dining areas. Five villas in the grounds accommodate up to 180 single en-suite bedrooms.

The Park is situated less than ten minutes walk from Montpellier and the Bath Road with its numerous shops, restaurants, bars, banks, cafes and just 15 minutes walk from the lively and cosmopolitan centre of Cheltenham.

FCH

Francis Close Hall, Cheltenham

Francis Close Hall is the nearest University Campus to Cheltenham’s town centre being just a short walk away from Cheltenham’s lively bars, clubs, friendly terraced streets, department stores, specialist shops, community cafes, diners and restaurants. The site has a history that can be traced back 1847 when the college was founded by Francis Close.

In 2006 FCH was designated a Centre for Excellence in Active Learning and received funding to build a new facility with interactive breakout rooms, video conferencing, and café style learning pods. The CeAL building has been designed to fulfil the university’s drive towards supporting sustainability.

Accommodation is available on the Hardwick site, which is located a short walk from FCH and houses 120 single en-suite bedrooms.

Oxstalls

Oxstalls, Gloucester

Gloucester is a modern, vibrant and multi-cultural city that combines the lively atmosphere of a modern city with a rich historic past and a picturesque Cotswold location.

Oxstalls campus is only 5 minutes drive from the city centre and ten miles from Cheltenham. The campus was designed to support urban sustainability with photovoltaic panels on the roof generating enough energy to drive computer equipment and lighting.

In total Oxstalls can accommodate up to 175 delegates in single en-suite bedrooms.

Oxstalls Campus also has sports facilities for hire for external users.
