Position
Principal Lecturer in Marketing

Experience
I am Director of Studies, Research Degrees, at the Business School, a member of CentRiCCC and an associate member of CeReS. I teach on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules — focusing primarily on consumer behaviour and services marketing. These areas also provide focus for my PhD supervisions where I'm currently working with six students. I also lead and teach on the DBA, where I cover systematic literature review and research methods. I continue to work with a number of retailers, manufacturers and marketing agencies in a consultative role, and to contribute to a number of in-house retail and service company development programmes.

Research Interests
My research interests focus on the effects of the in-store physical environment on customers, deshopping, and retail theatre, as well as consumer risk reduction and other aspects of consumer behaviour in the retail context. This interest in retailing was generated through my management role with Debenhams and Asda.
