The Centre aims to:
- Promote through education and research a whole person approach to health care.
- Establish a scientific and values based paradigm for the integration of body, mind and spirit in the promotion of health and well-being as well as the healing of illness and the prevention of dysfunction.
- Advance public education though lectures, seminars and short courses in collaboration with regional faith communities and secular organisations.
- Develop training programmes within the field of Whole Person Care for health professionals, counsellors and spiritual advisers.
- Establish a research network to facilitate the successful grant applications to national funding councils and charitable trusts.
