Andy Pitchford and Andrew Parker have recently secured £50,000 of funding from the Laureus Foundation and Active Communities Network (London) in relation to research concerning how sport might be used to tackle youth crime. The project will run for 18 months from October 2010. The pair have also secured £102,000 of funding from Vinspired in relation to research investigating the connections between young people, volunteering and sport.  This project will run for 20 months from October 2010
