Art Lift Gloucestershire, funded by Gloucestershire County Council and NHS Gloucestershire, is a countywide arts referral programme, where people with mild mental health problems can be referred for a 10 week programme of art with an artist in residence based in local primary care surgeries throughout Gloucestershire.
The evaluation team of Dr Diane Crone, Professor David James (University of Gloucestershire), Dr Phil Tyson (University of Wales, Newport) and Elaine O’Connell (HPA Primary Care Unit, Gloucester Hospital) worked with the project team (NHS Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire County Council, Art Lift Steering Group) to evaluate the project.
