A project titled VIPPA, aimed at developing and implementing physical activity in the Czech Republic has invited Dr Diane Crone to be a member of an International Experts Group to provide consultancy on the development of what is hoped to be adopted as the Czech Republic National Physical Activity Strategy. A former MSc post graduate ERASMUS student, Mr Michel Kalman, is leading the project which is funded by a European grant and supported by the Czech Ministry for Health. It will be the first Czech Republic strategy for the promotion of physical activity in their country. The Experts Group consist of 10 experts from around the globe who have knowledge and experience of physical activity promotion at a national and international level. The project involves supporting the development of the strategy through meetings, presentations and consultation with the project team, health policy makers and academics from the Czech Republic.
