The AcRE Core Team is:

  • Professor Mary Fuller (sociology, research methodology, disability, gender and doctoral  studies in Higher Education)
  • Dr John Hockey (sociology, research methodology, physical literacy and doctoral education with a range of publications in all three areas)
  • Dr Jeff Jones (Honorary Associate affiliated with AcRE whose research interests and publications include work in performance management, professional development, school leadership and governance)
  • Professor Steve Rayner (psychology of individual differences, management and leadership of educational diversity, academic leadership in Higher Education)
  • Dr Alison Scott-Baumann (ethnic minorities, citizenship, continental and applied philosophy, interfaith project management, child psychology)
  • Dr Glenys Woods (spirituality, educational policy and leadership, alternative education, and academies, ethics and values)
  • Professor Philip Woods (educational policy, leadership and governance, democracy and educational leadership, entrepreneurialism, creativity and social action in sociological theory)

The AcRE Extended Team includes nominated representatives from the Research Interest Groups in the Department of Education including:
