IRIS PhD student invited to present at the Catalan School for Sustainable Consumption
IRIS PhD Student, Ingrid Mulà, has been invited by COMPLEX, a research group from the University Autonomous of Barcelona, to present her PhD research at the Catalan School for Sustainable Consumption in Barcelona on 26 November 2010.

IRIS Keynote at GUNI
Professor Daniella Tilbury has been invited to give a keynote address at the prestigious International Conference in Higher Education which this year has a focus on sustainability. The Conference entitled “Higher Education’s Commitment to Sustainability: From Understanding to Action” is organised by the Global Universities Network for Innovation (GUNI) in association with the United Nations University. The event will be held in Barcelona from 23-25 November 2010. IRIS PhD Student, Ingrid Mulà has had her paper accepted and will be presenting preliminary research findings from her PhD studies at GUNI.
22 November
IRIS Presents to UN Interagency Committee
Professor Tilbury will be presenting to the UN International Agency Committee (IAC) which are meeting in Barcelona on the 22 November prior to the GUNI conference. She has been invited in her capacity as Chair of the UN Global Monitoring and Evaluation Expert Group which is mapping global progress in education for sustainable development during 2005-2014. UN agencies such as UNESCO, UNEP, UNU, UNICEF are represented in the Interagency Committee.

IRIS PhD student, Mona Zoghbi participated in the Environmental Education Association of Southern Africa (EEASA) Conference "Decade of Education for Sustainable Development: Lessons and Processes for a Sustainable World". Copperbelt University, Kitwe, Zambia. 19-24 September 2010.
