Sustainability and Education Academy (SEdA) Seminar, Hecula, Manitoba, Canada 

The Sustainability and Education Academy (SEdA) is a collaborative program between the Schullch School of Business, the Faculty of Education, the UNESCO Chair on Education for Sustainability (ESD) at York University, Canada. It is designed for leaders in the formal education sector in Canada who can plan institutional and sector responses to sustainability in education. The inaugural SEdA seminar which took place in Toronto last years brought together teams of senior officials from 7 boards of education across Canada, including 2 directors and 12 superintendents as well as participants from Government and Faculties of Educatio.  Professor Daniella Tilbury, Director of Sustainability, University of Gloucestershire forms part of the SEdA Seminar and will give presentation on the 6 October 2010 on the international research work she is undertaken in the area of ESD competencies.
