IRIS PhD Student invited to present at Vietnamese National Conference on 'Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education' 

IRIS PhD Student, Phuong Nguyen, will present studies from her PhD work at the Vietnamese National Conference on Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education. The conference is co-organised by the Vietnam National Committee on Education for Sustainable Development, UNESCO Hanoi and the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, and will take place from 13-14 May 2010 in Hung Yen city. Phuong’s presentation entitled “Engineering Education for Sustainable Development: The global context and challenges for Vietnam” will focus on the global movements concerning Education for Sustainable Development within the Higher Education Engineering community, and discuss the challenges that Vietnamese Universities are facing in order to meet the emergent demand for more competent graduate engineers.
