The research involves the following stages:
- A literature review of research/practice in interdisciplinary learning in ESD (which will be posted on the HE Academy’s EvidenceNet)
- An e-survey of taught postgraduate course leaders of ESD courses nationally
- An e-survey of student perceptions from ten institutions on their interdisciplinary learning experience, followed by focus groups
- National workshop organised by project team and involving subject centres to discuss research results and share draft guides
- Development of integrated Guide materials (+ case-studies) for staff and students
- Dissemination and evaluation
