Biography

Tamer K Darwish is a Reader in Human Resource Management (HRM), and the Head of HRM Research Centre in the School of Business and Technology, University of Gloucestershire. He is also an Academic Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. His research interests lie in the areas of strategic HRM, international and comparative HRM, institutions, and organizational performance. He has authored/co-authored two books and over 40 peer-reviewed journal and conference articles in these areas including leading management and HR journals such as Human Resource Management, British Journal of Management, European Management Review, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. He also serves on the editorial boards of a number of academic journals, including the international Journal of HRM.
