Dr Louise F. Reid is a Lecturer in Digital Marketing. Her career in the fashion sector encompassed both retailing and buying roles, for brands Warehouse and Cotton Traders respectively. Biography

Dr Louise F. Reid is a Lecturer in Digital Marketing. Her career in the fashion sector encompassed both retailing and buying roles, for brands Warehouse and Cotton Traders respectively. Louise’s PhD research, which follows a BA (hons) in Consumer Studies and an MSc in Strategic Fashion Buying, investigated the role of psychological and physical determinants of clothing comfort within the consumer’s process of garment evaluation across multiple channel retail environments. Her current research explores virtual and augmented reality retailing applications and the role of three-dimensional body scanning within purchase behaviour.  This experience and research informs her teaching and supervision in digital marketing, fashion and strategy topics.
