Mr Tony Clancy

Senior Lecturer in Photography

I work as a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Art and Design, specialising in photography. My interests range widely but include historical processes, video and sound.

Biography

My background was in literature and performance, and I took my first degree at the University of Leicester, later taking up photography. I took my MA at the University of Derby and have since then worked on some of the leading photography courses in the UK, as well as working as an external examiner on many other photography and media courses. My interests combine practice and theory but I am always led by the visual.
